The Waterloo Region Record

The Waterloo Region Record—widely known as The Record and often searched for as the Waterloo Record—is the region's long-established daily newspaper.

Its roots reach back to 1878, when the Daily News of Berlin began publishing. Through later mergers and name changes, the paper became the Berlin News Record, the Kitchener Daily Record and the Kitchener-Waterloo Record. It adopted the name Waterloo Region Record in 2008.
